LIBRA: EQUALITY AND JUSTICE

"God made us who we are. So did science. Therefore, no explanation should be demanded of us for who we are." ~Amy Birdsong

In this place we live in, where poverty, corruption, discrimination, recession and other economic upheavals dominate the land, I can still say that we live in a wonderful, majestic, beautiful world.

We all know the meaning of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender). In use since the 1990s, the term "LGBT" is an adaptation of the initialism "LGB", which itself started replacing the phrase "gay community" beginning in the mid-to-late 1980s, which many within the community in question felt did not accurately represent all those to whom it referred. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT

Television icons like BB Gandanghari, Aiza Seguerra, Lady Gaga are some of the famous people for being an LGBT.

Lesbians and gays are not really like the bisexuals and the transgenders. Why? Well, it is because they are not physically abnormal, more like their emotionally abnormal. They chose to be the "ideal person" in the opposite sex. However, it does not mean that they should not be treated badly. That is the path, the fate that they chose to be, so we just have to respect them.

Most of the time we look at people especially those with abnormalities in an unfair manner. We tend to negate their own reputation, look down on them for having an abnormality and bully and tease them.

Actually these people although they have differences we can not say that they don’t need to be understood. I, myself think that these people are one of the best persons in the whole world. Why did I say that? It is because they have the sight that sees the amazing beauty of this world, the strength to overcome the pains in their hearts.

LGBTs have a cheerful disposition which makes other people happy. They are hilarious and always on top of all difficult situations.

Life is like a maze. There are lots of paths to choose. And for LGBT people, they chose the path where they will be contented and happy. This makes them a wise pathfinder.

They need a to light just one little CANDLE just even a spark, a candle that will light and consume itself for a brighter world. Who wants a brighter world? Don't everyone love that? There should not be any chaos that will ruin the lives of these people. If there is light, all of us, won't be able to stumble in the dark.

These LGBT, must be respected just like how we respect others. They need understanding, love, comfort and care. Try not to bully or tease them for you might hurt their feelings. They are not ANIMALS, they are also PEOPLE like us. And we know that people are the highest form of creatures that God created that He gave us the responsibility to rule and dominate this land and the will power to do anything we want.

Believe in the strength of your heart. Trust the Divine Lord. Cherish your life.
I will always believe in the golden rule that: “Do not do unto others as you would that they should do unto you.”

Be a LIBRA. Always fair and just. Smile always and be happy for this world to be a merry-go-round. Love others just like how you love yourself. Always remember that love, although it can not be seen, nor even touched, it is the best feeling we feel in our heart. Love is everlasting and when you love other people whether they are different, your loving the ONE who created and designed you.

THINK BIG

A saltwater crocodile that most likely would be the largest in captivity, has not been eating for six days since being captured in the creek in the Southern Philippines.

Wildlife official Ronnie Sumiller, who led the hunt for the 20-foot crocodile better known as “Lolong” said that it was under observation for signs of stress.

He said that it was normal for crocodiles to be experiencing stress after being trapped and handled. Even living freely in the wild, they do not normally eat daily, and a crocodile as gigantic as Lolong can go out with no food for even up to six months.
Lolong has been kept and placed in a 800-square metre pen, positively secured by hard concrete walls topped with Bunawan wire township, where he was caught.

The Bunawan mayor, Edwin Cox Elorde, said that Lolong didn’t even budge when a dead chicken was placed near him to whet his appetite.

The giant crocodile is estimated to be at the age of 50 years old, and wildlife officials are trying to confirm if it is really the largest such crocodile catch in the world.

Well whether Lolong is really the largest catch and the king of all the crocodiles or not, we just always have to think big.
